What it is?
This route will take you to the surroundings of Benamaurel, an exploring experience in a semi-desert landscape.
- You will observe the lacustrine deposits of alternating plaster and clays so typical of this semi-arid landscape, always surrounded by hemp plants.
- We will discover the sulfur mines, of a strati form characteristic of biosingenic sulfur, where their horizons are distributed in layers of no more than 3 meters.
Our PLUS: After our route, you can visit the Eco museum of Castillejar where we will know first-hand the profession of weaving hemp plants into everyday products.
Recommendation: wearing comfortable shoes, suitable clothing and sunscreen.
